Ensuring instructional innovation focused on continuous improvement of digital-age learningAt CHS, we strive to provide learner-centered environments equipped with technology and learning resources to meet the individual, diverse needs of all learners
As the instructional leader of the campus, I do my best to model and promote the frequent and effective use of technology for learning. |
How do we model technology? |
During faculty meetings we model instructional practices that we want to see in the classroom. When we are collaborating about a topic we use the discussion forum in Canvas our online learning management system. When are searching for thoughts or input from staff, we use google forms. When we collaborate as teams we use google forms to present our ideas by department to the staff as a whole. 68% of our teachers said their students take an online assessment at least monthly.

How do our students feel about technology? |
According to the 2015-2016 BrightBytes data, 74% of our students said they were asked to collaborate with their peers online monthly, 47% of students reported being asked to write online at least once monthly, and 62% of students are asked to identify and solve authentic problems using technology at least once monthly. |
